History
The company was established in 1960 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The company started its venture with design, development & manufacturing of Analytical Instruments like pH meter for the first time in India. Elico has developed several technologies in the areas of Spectrophotometry, Chromatography, Electrochemistry, Flame Photometry Instrumentation and also works with global leaders in product development and manufacturing (ODM Services). The company has a network of Sales and Service Centres in all important cities.
Elico was awarded prestigious 'National Award for R&D' from Department of Scientific & Industrial Research.
Elico was also awarded 'National award for Quality products' from Ministry of SSI, Govt. of India
Elico instituted “Excellence in Research & Development” award in association with FAPCCI (The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) to foster and enhance R&D efforts in small scale industries.
Elico collaborated with universities in industry training to reduce the skills gap in instrumentation industry.
Elico significantly contributed for the development of Instrumentation industry in India by actively participating in a committee constituted by Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi.
