Elena Kampouris (born September 16, 1997) is an American film and television actress, best known for playing Allison Doss in 2014's film Men, Women & Children and Maya Decker in the American television series American Odyssey. She starred in the film Corners and that same year she starred in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016), playing the daughter of Nia Vardalos and John Corbett's characters from the original. Her Broadway debut was in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (2016), playing a naive and wealthy young woman, Cecil Volanges, in a drama where sex is a weapon.

Early life

Kampouris was born in New York City, New York the daughter of Ivey, a fashion illustrator and designer, and Alexander Kampouris, who owns a boutique wine store. Her father is Greek, from the island of Kassos, and her mother is American, of part French descent. She has lived in New Jersey.
Career

In 2012, Kampouris made her acting debut with a small guest role of Constance Girl #2 in one episode of The CW's series Gossip Girl. She followed this in 2013 with the comedy television film Jinxed, in which she played Ivy Murray opposite Ciara Bravo and Jack Griffo; the film premiered on Nickelodeon on November 29, 2013. The same year, Kampouris made her film debut in the drama film Labor Day, in which she played Young Rachel McCann, opposite leads Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin. The film was directed by Jason Reitman, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival on August 29, 2013 and was released by Paramount Pictures on December 27, 2013. In December, she signed with the William Morris Endeavor for representation.

In 2014, Kampouris played Allison Doss in the comedy-drama Men, Women & Children along with Rosemarie DeWitt, Jennifer Garner, Judy Greer, Dean Norris, and Adam Sandler. Jason Reitman directed the film, which was released limited on October 1, 2014 and widely on October 17 by Paramount. Later, she played Alexia in the comedy-drama The Cobbler along with Adam Sandler, Dan Stevens, Dustin Hoffman and Steve Buscemi. The film was directed by Tom McCarthy, premiered on September 11, 2014 and released on March 13, 2015 by Image Entertainment.

In 2015, Kampouris starred in the NBC's thriller series American Odyssey, in which she played Maya Decker, daughter of Peter Facinelli's character Peter Decker, a former U.S. Attorney. The series ran from April to June 2015, and was cancelled after one season.

Kampouris had a supporting role in the romantic comedy film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, playing the daughter of Nia Vardalos and John Corbett's characters. The film, directed by Kirk Jones, was released on March 25, 2016 by Universal Pictures.

In 2016, Kampouris made her Broadway stage debut in a Donmar Warehouse Production by Christopher Hampton of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, directed by Josie Roarke, starring Janet McTeer and Liv Schreiber. Elena played the supporting role of Cecile Volanges, a wealthy and naive teenager, in a drama where a game is made of using sex as a weapon. In 2017, Kampouris had a supporting role, Juliet Sykes, in the drama film Before I Fall, along with Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, and Logan Miller, and directed by Ry Russo-Young.
