Elektromreža Srbije (abbr. EMS; full legal name: Javno preduzeće Elektromreža Srbije Beograd) is a state-owned transmission system operator company for electricity with the headquarters in Belgrade, Serbia. It was founded in 2005 after being split from Elektroprivreda Srbije and it is specialized in the transmission of electrical power. It is a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity.

History

On July 1, 2005, the electric power transmission division of Elektroprivreda Srbije was split from the company and established its own public enterprise subsidiary Elektromreža Srbije (EMS).

Market and financial data

As of 2013, EMS posted a profit of 1,594,547,000 RSD (€13.91 million) and 19,843,261,000 RSD (€173.09 million) of revenues. The company has about 1,650 employees.
