History
The company was founded in 1983 in Worthing, West Sussex on the south coast of England. It started as a specialized, small company providing thermometers to the catering industry. ETI was one of the first UK companies to develop a range of digital thermometers specifically designed for food, manufacturing, and many other industries. The company has been privately owned since inception. Today, Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd has 2 factories (40,000 sq. ft.) and over 50 distributors around the world.
The United States is the largest export market. ETI has expanded its product line to include a large variety of temperature measuring instruments, such as thermometers, data loggers, humidity and dew point meters, pH meters and damp / moisture meters.
