The District of Elbasan (Albanian: Rrethi i Elbasanit) was one of the thirty-six districts of Albania (which were dissolved in 2000) that was part of Elbasan County, Albania. It has a population of 224,689 (2010 estimate), and an area of 1,372 km². It is in the centre of the country, and its capital is Elbasan.
