Elachista geminatella

Elachista geminatella is a moth of the Elachistidae family. It is found from Sweden to Spain and from Great Britain to the Baltic region and Austria.

The wingspan is 7.8–9.6 millimetres (0.31–0.38 in). Adults are on wing in July.

The larvae feed on Luzula campestris and Luzula multiflora. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine is somewhat inflated and puckered and has the appearance of a tentiform mine. They are greyish white. Larvae can be found from autumn to spring.
