Edward Tomanek is a British violinist, pianist and organist. Born in Nottingham, England, in 2002, he now lives in Somersham, Cambridgeshire. Having taken up the piano and violin at the age of 3, he has since played extensively both in the UK and abroad. He has won several international competitions and received many prizes, including 2nd prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition in Fermo, Italy. He was a pupil at King's College School Cambridge and a Queens Scholar at Westminster School in London and took up the organ in 2010. In 2015 he played a series of recitals, and performances of Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1.
