Edward Herrera (born 14 November 1986 in Pietà, Malta) is a Maltese footballer. He currently plays for the Maltese Premier League side Birkirkara, where he plays mainly as a wing back. He also works as a teacher at De La Salle College, where he teaches pure mathematics.

International career

Herrera made his international debut for Malta on 18 November 2009, in the 4–1 home friendly defeat against Bulgaria. He came on as a substitute, replacing Kevin Sammut in the 56th minute. On 10 September 2013, Herrera scored his first international goal in the 2–1 loss against Bulgaria in the World Cup 2014 Qualifying Campaign.
