Edward Thomas Coppinger (25 November 1846 – 26 February 1927) was an English cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club.

Coppinger was born in Bexley in Kent in 1846. He was a member of a cricketing family and played in two first-class cricket matches for Kent in 1873. Two of his brothers, Charles and William, and an uncle Septimus all played first-class cricket.

In later life Coppinger way mayor of Kingston-on-Thames. He died in Surbiton in 1927 aged 80.
