He is the founder and owner of Financial Union Tirana, Union Bank, UnionNet, MediaUnion and Auto Union. Early life
Edmond Leka started his career as an engineer after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Tirana in 1987. He started his career at KESH, the state electircity utility. In the mid-1990s, Mr. Leka joined the public administration.
Career in Business
In 1995, Edmond Leka moved into the private sector by starting the Western Union Franchise as part of the Financial Union Tirane.[2]
