Eddie Cornelius was a songwriter and lead singer for The Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose, a 1970s soul R&B act that had hits with "Too Late to Turn Back Now" and "Treat Her Like a Lady".

In the 1980s he released some solo albums on the Audiograph record label.

In later years, he became an ordained pastor. In 1995, he started the Blood of the Lamb ministries church in South Florida.
