History

Tullett was born October 20, 1993 in Oxford, England. In 2012, after building a following on Tumblr through a string of home-recorded, free-to-download material published on Bandcamp, Tullett signed to Albany, New York based record label Equal Vision Records in October 2012.

In the same month Tullett was announced as one of the winners of the Bon Iver Stems Project remix contest, and his remix of "Hinnom, TX" was released on Spotify under 4AD. He then released an EP entitled Trawl through MTV Hype Music, which led to placements in Catfish, The Real World, and various other MTV programming. Equal Vision Records followed this by digitally re-releasing a remastered version of the previously self-released Never Joy in December 2012.

Another single, "Oxblood", was released on Equal Vision Records in April 2013, accompanied by live performances at SXSW and a short headline UK Tour.

In January 2014 Tullett left Equal Vision Records and started work on a new, more electronic solo record, as well as beginning an ongoing collaboration with Welsh Indie-Folk artist Novo Amor. Their first collaborative single "Faux" was released 23 June 2014 on Dumont Dumont & Brilliance Records, with its video premiering on NPR Music.

Tullett signed to US publisher Razor & Tie Music Publishing in January 2014, leading to "Faux" being placed in episodes of US TV series' Bones and Pretty Little Liars. Leaving Razor & Tie, Tullett signed to UK-based publisher BDi Music, part of Bucks Music Group in January 2015, and has since been co-writing and producing for other artists, including Violet Skies' single "Liar".
Fiancé, Tullett's first solo release since 2013, was released 19 February 2016 on Monotreme Records, earning praise from many music blogs including Stereogum, The Line of Best Fit, and Earmilk.
"Alps", Tullett's second collaborative single with Novo Amor, was released 15 April 2016. The pair are currently working on a full album together.
