Station

All Katsuyama Eiheiji Line trains serve Echizen-Takehara Station. Two tracks serve a single platform, and the station is unstaffed. Between Echizenguchi and Katsuyama, trains generally pass one another at this station.

  • February 11, 1914: Ichiarakawa Station (市荒川駅) opens.
  • September 1, 1955: Ichiarakawa Station demolished; Echizen-Takehara Station opens approximately 300 meters west.

  • October 19, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
