Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference

An eight-member IHSAA-sanctioned Conference located within Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, and Rush Counties. The conference was formed when the football playing schools of the East Central Conference (except for Morton Memorial) joined with three schools from the Southeastern Indiana Conference. The conference recently grew to its largest membership number, as Connersville and Rushville joined in 2013.

This conference should not be confused with the Eastern Indiana Conference, a small-school conference in Northeast Indiana that existed from 1953 to 1975.

Football Divisions

In football, two divisions will be used starting in 2013.

Former Members

  1. Was North Vernon before 1968.
  2. Colors were light blue      and white      until 1968.

Boys Basketball

  • Champions from 1961–70, 1971–76, 1979-90 (except SD 1984-85), and 1992-93 unverified.
  • Girls Basketball

  • Champions between beginning of competition in sport until 1991, and 1992-95 are unverified.
