East Institute of Puebla (Instituto Oriente de Puebla) originated with a school opened by the Jesuits in Puebla, Mexico, in 1870. It has grown to accept students from preschool through college prep.

Recent programs include "School for Parents", "Tutorial Accompaniment", educational and administrative councils, commitment to an ecological culture with synthetic turf on football fields, and adding a 300-car parking lot.
Sports
Sports facilities include a fitness center, swimming pool, football fields, running track, Rama football, basketball, volleyball, and rugby. The Institute participates in the Interjesuit games, an athletic contest between the Jesuit high schools in Mexico, at the primary and high school levels. The fencing coach Jose Manuel Rascon has made a mark in national and international foil in the person of Alix Lerch whom he coached.
