Earl Valiquette (born 1922) was a Canadian football player who played for the Hamilton Wildcats, Edmonton Eskimos and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was a nominee for the Jeff Russel Memorial Trophy in 1948. When the Hamilton Wildcats merged with the Hamilton Tigers in 1950, Valiquette, along with teammate Jack Stewart, were signed by the Edmonton Eskimos, a move that was met with resistance and threats for legal action from the Hamilton club, as they had presumed they had rights to him. The Canadian Rugby Union later made a ruling that Edmonton held his rights, and Valiquette decided to join the Eskimos. Valiquette was traded back to Hamilton the next season by Edmonton in exchange for George Festeryga.
