Chautala was born in Daroli of Hisar District, Haryana on 3 April 1988 to Ajay Chautala and Naina Singh, daughter of Sh. Bhim Singh Godara. He is the grandson of Ch. Om Prakash Chautala and the great grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Devi Lal. He has a younger brother, Digvijay Chautala. He did his schooling from St. Mary School, Hisar and The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Himachal Pradesh. He took admission in California State University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He married Meghna Chautala (Ahlawat) on 18 April 2017 at Gurugram.
