Dupe Kupoluyi Olusola is a Nigerian business executive. She is the managing director and chief executive officer of the Nigeria-based agricultural company, Teragro Commodities Limited. Teragro Commodities is the agribusiness subsidiary of the Nigerian conglomerate, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp Plc). She was appointed to the position in 2014.

Early life and education

Olusola attended Queens College, Lagos, a secondary school for girls in Lagos between 1985 and 1991 where she obtained her GCE O-levels. She studied economics at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, graduating with the class of 1996 and obtained her MSc in Development Economics from the University of Kent in 1997.

Career

Previously, Olusola worked in the banking and financial services industry with Bloomberg Financial Markets, UK, Securities Transaction & Trust Company, Northern Trust Bank of Chicago, UK, Growing Businesses Foundation, Nigeria, African Capital Alliance, United Bank for Africa, Harval Management Limited, Nigeria, Hometel Limited, Nigeria and Avis Nigeria.

As CEO of Teragro Commodities, she spearheaded a partnership with Coca Cola to produce Five Alive Pulpy Orange Juice making Teragro the sole local material source for the juice.

Transnational Corporation of Nigeria

Olusola has been managing director and chief executive officer of Teragro Commodities Limited since August 2014. She provides visionary leadership in its bid to become globally competitive in the agricultural sector.

She successfully sealed the deal for the acquisition of two farmlands measuring 10,000 hectares in Benue State for citrus farming and maintains a relationship with the stakeholders there.

Personal life

Dupe is married to life coach, Lanre Olusola.
