Dr. Norman R.C. Campbell is a Professor of Medicine, Community Health Sciences and Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Calgary and is a member of the O'Brien Institute of Public Health and Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta. Dr Campbell holds the HSFC CIHR Chair in Hypertension Prevention and Control (2011–2016) and is on the executive of the World Hypertension League as Past President. He seeks success in improving hypertension control, unhealthy diets and physical inactivity on a national and global scale. Dr. Campbell is well known for his work with sodium reduction around the world. Dr. Campbell has over 380 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has received several recognitions for his efforts. He obtained degrees in Medicine and Internal Medicine from Memorial University in Newfoundland where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency. He has spoken at more than 200 conferences worldwide.
