Founder
Dr V. Mohan born on 1954 in a small town of North Pudur in Kerala. He worked with his father M Viswanathan as a diabetologist and a researcher till 1990 at MV Hospital and Diabetes Research Centre, Chennai which was started by his father. Later, in 1991 he started this diabetes hospital.

Dr. Mohan's Diabetes Specialities Centre now has 20 diabetes centres and clinics in southern India (9 centres in Chennai, 2 centres in Vellore , 3 centres in Hyderabad and 1 centre each in Coimbatore, Madurai, Pondicherry, Chunampet and Bhubaneswar). and one international centre at Muscat in Oman and over 360,000 diabetic patients have been registered at these centres.
