    Format

Several groups of bargain hunters (dickerers) search through that week's edition of the Augusta-published Uncle Henry's in order to buy, sell, swap and trade items. Although it is titled Down East Dickering, none of the show is filmed in that part of Maine. For example, Tony and Codfish are based in Bethel; Clint, Bruce and Nate work out of Sangerville; Yummy and Mitch are in Minot; and Speedy and Tinman are in southern Maine.

The show is narrated by Bennett.

    Episodes

Both seasons were filmed in the summer and fall of 2014.

    Season one

  • "Dickering 101"
  • Tony, Codfish and Duke do business with Kenny "Crazy" Connell, picking up a John Deere Spitfire snowmobile ($150) and a bucket of car badges, hub caps and hood ornaments ($50). They went on to sell one hood ornament for $400, giving them a credit of $200. They pick up vintage signs and a Coca-Cola machine for $400, but after a few purchases they manage to sell two snowmobiles for $550, some collectibles for $400 and the signs for the same amount, giving them a $750 profit.
  • Yummy and Mitchell build a walking bridge in a lake in Hebron. As part of a trade, Mitchell is allowed to pick blueberries and Yummy gets a CD player installed in his pickup truck, for $620 all in. He gets the bridge sections from Donnie in a $150 trade for fixing his tractor.
  • Clint and Nate need to cut down a tree. They pick up a chainsaw in exchange for a snowmobile and get $100 for the job, plus $300 for selling the wood. Clint puts some of his profit towards a car for a demolition derby. Bruce finds him a Ford Explorer for an engine and scrap metal trade.
