Douglas Barrow

Douglas Gordon Fleming Barrow (born August 1951) is a councilman of the City of London Corporation where he represents the ward of Aldgate. Barrow is the chief executive of Maritime London and has a background as a deck officer in the British merchant navy. He was the founding chairman of International Bunker Industry Association in 1993 and is a past Prime Warden of Shipwrights, past master of the Fuellers and past chairman of the City of London Sea Cadets. He is a Younger Brother of Trinity House and was awarded an honorary doctorate in Maritime Studies by Southampton Solent University in 2015.
