Doppels is a location-based birthday discovery app, launched in January 2016 formed by Matt Hagger and Eli Shmerler. Where users can find people who share the same birthday, these users are defined as 'Doppels'.

How it works
Doppels uses Facebook to build a user profile with photos and basic information that has already been uploaded. After signing up, users are grouped together with other who share the same birth date. They can request to chat and make new friends.

My Doppels: Shows people who share the same birthday as the user.
Today's Doppels: Shows people who celebrate today their birthday.
Calendar: Friends from Facebook are imported to a calendar sorted by upcoming birthdays.
Activity: Notifications about actions within the app
