Dongchon was a township, or myeon in Dalseong County, North Gyeongsang, South Korea. The area corresponds to neighbourhoods (dong) of Dong District, Daegu. Haean-myeon was renamed Dongchon-myeon in 1940 and it was annexed by Daegu in 1958. Dongchon Town Office was located in Ipseok-dong, which is crowded with people.
