Dominique Piotet is a French author, journalist and consultant residing in San Francisco, California.

In 2007, he created the San Francisco branch of L’Atelier, part of the BNP Paribas group. He co-hosted L’Atelier Numerique on BFM radio, and is co-author, with journalist Francis Pisani (Le Monde, El Pais) of the book Comment le web change le monde : l'achemie des multitudes (2008, Pearson Education)

Piotet is a columnist for the French economic newspaper La Tribune. He has also written for L’Atelier, Regards sur la Numerique, 01 Informatique and NetEco.

He has been awarded as the "Most Communicative Person of the Year" in France by the "Communication & Entreprise" Award
