Dominican wings the charter airline of the americas
Dominican Wings is a start-up airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, created in 2015. A subsidiary of Lithuanian wet-lease specialist, Avion Express in Vilnius. The airline operates Airbus aircraft, and serves the air charter and ACMI market in the region. Currently, it operates an Airbus 320 aircraft, and will be adding a second aircraft of the same type by 2017, and five aircraft by 2020.

One of it's major shareholders is a European airline, Avion Express, which operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A320. The airline is fully certified for international operations by the Dominican Civil Aviation Authority (IDAC), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), The Civil Aviation Board, and Transport Canada.
Dominican Wings received its AOC from the Dominican Republic's civil aviation authority in late 2014 and plans to offer charter flights between the Dominican Republic to Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Argentina for and on behalf of tour operators. Its first aircraft, an Airbus A320, was delivered on 3 May 2015.
Victor Miguel Pacheco Méndez, currently is president of Dominican Wings. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on June 9, 1982, he studied elementary school at Carol Morgan College and later continued high school at Riverside Military Academy, Georgia, USA. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana. His work experience began in 2001 where he worked the business area of the family businesses. Then, in 2003, he worked as Executive Vice President for Vimenca Real Estate. Later, in 2009, he was Vice-President of the Vimenca Group, passing to the Vice-President of Development for Data Vimenca and finally as Vice-President of Remittances Vimenca. Currently is part of the board of Data Vimenca and President of Dominican Wings.
