History

Doddle launched in October 2014 as a joint venture between Network Rail and Travelex founder Lloyd Dorfman. Doddle has partnerships with over 25 retail partners including Amazon, ASOS, Missguided, River Island and New Look to extend the range of click and collect delivery options available to customers. It currently has 68 stores as of 2 October 2016, from Glasgow to Brighton.

Services

  • Collections: instead of delivering a parcel to a home or business address, you can have it sent to a Doddle store and collect it at a time that's convenient for you. Most Doddle stores are open seven days a week, early until late.
  • Returns: you can return items, such as online orders, at Doddle. If the item was bought from one of Doddle's retail partners, sending the return might be free of charge.
  • Sends: you can send parcels within the UK and internationally at any Doddle store.
  • Doddle Runner

Doddle launched its Runner service in August 2015. The app based service works by customers taking a picture of the item(s) they would like to send, which are then collected by a Runner who will take care of packaging, tracking and next day, best price UK delivery. The service is currently available in central London.

    Doddle Neighbour

Doddle's Neighbour service was launched in October 2015 and is currently trialled in Haywards Heath and Bromley South. As an extension of its store-based services, Doddle Neighbours allow customers to collect and send parcels from their homes.
