Dikla (Jika) Elkaslassy (born November 1, 1979) (Hebrew: דקלה (ג'יקה) אלקסלסי) is an Israeli director, screenwriter and actress.

Biography

Elkaslassy was born and raised in Haifa, Israel. At the age of 18 she attended the “school of visual arts” in New York City and studied Animation (1998-2001). At 2003 began studies of acting at the ‘Haderch’ studio of acting in Tel-Aviv, during this studies starred doing acting roles on Israeli television and films. At 2013 graduated the trade school of cinema ‘Minshar for Art ‘ in Tel Aviv. Her movie "Here I am… There you are…" accepted to Sundance Film Festival 2014. Haaretz
