Diana Francis (born 1944) is a British peace activist and scholar. She is a consultant working on conflict transformation with local activists in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

She is a former President of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation and Chair of the Committee for Conflict Transformation Support.

Personal life

She is married to Nick Francis and has two grandchildren.

Education

In 1998, she received a Ph.D. from the University of Bath for a thesis "Respect in cross-cultural conflict resolution training", which led to her first book, People, peace and power: conflict transformation in action. The work was done in the Centre for Action Research in professional practice.
