Desportivo de Santa Cruz

Clube Desportivo de Santa Cruz (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Disportibu di Santa Kruz, São Vicente Crioulo: D'sportiv' d' Santa Kruz) is a football (soccer) club that plays in the Santiago Island League North Zone in Cape Verde. The team is based in the town of Santa Cruz in the central part of the island of Santiago and plays at Estadio Municipal 25 de Julho with a capacity of 1,000, the stadium was opened in 2008. The team has won the only title in 2002 for the Santiago Island League (North), as the league was unilaterally separated, the club did not participated in the national division.
