Desire Walks On is the eleventh studio album by the American rock band Heart. Released in 1993, it yielded four singles: "Will You Be There (In the Morning)", which reached No. 39 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Black on Black II", which hit No. 4 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, "Back to Avalon" and "The Woman in Me", which failed to make the Hot 100 but "bubbled under" at No. 105. The album peaked at number No. 48 in the U.S. and marked a return to being predominantly written by lead members Ann and Nancy Wilson. The album was certified gold for 500,000 copies sold in the U.S.

Layne Staley, lead vocalist of the Seattle grunge band Alice in Chains, sings with the Wilson sisters on the cover of Bob Dylan's "Ring Them Bells".
The original European 1993 release and the US 2001 re-release were expanded to add Spanish language versions of "The Woman in Me" and "Will You Be There (In the Morning)", the latter in a remixed format.
This is the final Heart studio album to feature long time member Howard Leese. Aside from the Wilson sisters, Leese is the longest serving member of Heart.
