Dennis vanEngelsdorp is an assistant professor of entomology at the University of Maryland. He is the project director for the Bee Informed Partnership and has been involved in a number of studies aimed at understanding colony collapse disorder. Engelsdorp was formerly the chief apiarist for Pennsylvania.
