Dendrophryniscus berthalutzae is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is endemic to the coastal plain of Brazil in Santa Catarina and ParanĂ¡ states. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests where it occurs in leaf-litter. It reproduces in bromeliads where the tadpoles develop. Dendrophryniscus berthalutzae is threatened by habitat loss (deforestation).
