The Deming Headlight is a newspaper in Deming, New Mexico, United States. It was established in the 1880s. In his autobiography, Miguel Antonio Otero, the Governor of the New Mexico Territory from 1897 to 1906, described it as a Democratic paper unfavourable to the Republican Party.

The Headlight was owned by MediaNews Group, and on its masthead is denoted "An edition of the Las Cruces Sun-News". It was part of the Texas-New Mexico Newspaper Partnership between MediaNews and Gannett. In 2015, Gannett acquired full ownership of the Texas-New Mexico Newspapers Partnership.

This newspaper is a very censored paper in general. They tend to only write about the things that will make Deming seem better in the eyes of the people who live, and/or want to live here. For example, the 1999 middle school shooting, which had one fatality, was not reported by the Deming Headlight. Another instance is when the Deming police forced a man to have his anal cavity checked for drugs without his consent. The latest incident that the Deming Headlight failed to report was earlier this year when a sopohmore brought an unloaded gun to Deming High School.
