Defence Discount Service is the official Ministry of Defence owned discount website for members of the Armed Forces, Veterans and Armed Forces Community.

  • The service is operated by Blue Light Card LTD on behalf of the UK's Ministry of Defence and was launched by the Defence Secretary Phillip Hammond in October 2012 and the official discount card for the Armed Forces Defence Privilege Card was later launched by the Prime Minister David Cameron in December 2012.

    The service provides savings for service and ex service members both online and on the high street with a number of UK stores both local and national becoming involved.
