Events
The Deer Fire started during the afternoon of July 1 near Deer Trail. Within hours the fire was growing rapidly towards Bear Valley Springs and prompted the evacuations of Owl Court and Deer Trail.
The fire was reported as 100% contained at 1,785 acres (7 km2) on July 11.
