Early life
Deepak Arora was born on December 18, 1960, to Sqn. Ldr. G.K. Arora and Mrs Pushpa Arora, father was killed in action in Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and was honored with Shaurya Chakra by Government of India and mother was President of War Widows Association of India.
Educational Life
He did his schooling from Air Force Bal Bharati School Delhi in 1980. He joined Sri Venkateswara College and did his Graduation from Delhi University.
Professional Life
He started his career at a young age of 18. The family has a distribution of Indian Oil Corporation for cooking gas (Indane) in Delhi, he started manufacturing Gas Stoves in name of Silver Flame and then Crown. He was recognized as a youngest entrepreneur in LPG trade at that time.
In early 80’s he started Export business of semi-precious stones to European countries and America.
In 1987 he joined JMA Group, in 1990 started the largest plant of Re-treading in North with TVS franchise.
In 1992 He started running ACL Components Ltd a Group Company of JMA Group as the CEO in the year 2006 he became the Joint Managing Director of the parent company Jullundur Motor Agency (Delhi) Ltd in that year the company was doing a turnover of about 175 Crores and in the year 2014-15 the group will be close to 500 Crores (US$85 million).
