Deedar is 1992 Hindi movie directed by Pramod Chakravorty and starring debutant Akshay Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Tanuja. Other cast members include Laxmikant Berde, Seema Deo, Ajit Vachhani, Anjana Mumtaz, Rajeev Verma, Dan Dhanoa, Priya Arun, Rajesh Puri and Viju Khote. This movie was supposed to be Akshay Kumar's debut movie however Saugandh was released as debut movie for Akshay Kumar.
Plot
Akshay Kumar and Karishma Kapoor fall in love. In the past Karishma Kapoor's dad backstabs Akshay Kumar's dad and he goes to jail for his crimes. Akshay Kumar plans to take revenge. Karishma Kapoor asks her dad to confess the truth to the police. He realises his mistakes and seeks forgiveness from his parents and dies.
