Early beginnings

DeeJay Element picked interest in DJing after he regularly watched a friend of his performing. He later got employed at Fat Beats, where he met J57 who introduced him to record production before going on to become a Brown Bag AllStars member.

2013–present: Reality Kings & Reason and Element(als) Vol 1

In February 2013, he released his debut project Reality Kings & Reason, a 5-track EP which featured Koncept, Sene, J57, J Swiss, Gorilla Tao, Soul Khan among others. The EP was relatively well received by music critics with Steve Juon of Rap Reviews rating it 7 out of 10 stars and further went on to state that the EP is a "perfectly delivered 5 track slice of his skill that shows his name definitely deserves to be higher on the playbill - and quite possibly on the marquee". Between 2013 and early 2016, DeeJay Element produced and co-released projects with Koncept, Soul Khan, J57 and Allen Poe. On 13 October 2016, he released another solo project titled Element(als) Vol 1, a collection of 15 instrumentals in the boom, rap, hiphop and trap genres of music. On 27 July 2016, he released "Element for President (Remix)" as the lead single off his forthcoming EP titled Element for President. The single features vocals from J57, CashUs King, Johaz and Choosey; and was originally released in 2014 as a track off J57's Wax Aesthetic EP.
