Controversy

Voltaj was strongly criticized by the Romanian fans upon the fact that they first chose to perform it at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in English. On 15 March 2015, the band decided to go with an English-Romanian blended version of the song so that its message could be understood by the contest voters, as well as it could match some Eurovision's standards, keeping the Romanian entry its native language for the purpose of the contest. On the same day, they released on their Facebook page the following statement:

"Our dearest...we finally decided! We considered all your opinions, to which we added what we feel we should do in order to have the best chances in Vienna. And this is the version of the song which we'll perform in the contest!"

Band leader, Cătălin Goia, also stated for Adevărul news paper that his personal favorite is the Romanian version, saying that he firstly composed this way and the English version came after they signed up for the contest, thinking that the message of the song needs to be understood by foreigners as well. He said that he found the perfect version to tell the message as well as keeping the Romanian language.

There are two songs which are both related to this single. De la capat, the fully Romanian version, and All over again (the fully English version.)
