Daystar academy part 1
English Curriculum
Daystar Academy's elementary is now taugh using the Teachers Collage Columbia university Reading & Writing Project to meet the US Common Core State Standards. Kindergarten for 3-6 year old children is Montessori program.
Chinese National Curriculum
Daystar Academy has adopted the Chinese National Curriculum 人教版 ("Ren Jiao Ban") for The Chinese language and math programs, and in combination with other curricula for our physical education, art and music programs.
Future
Daystar Academy is planning to expand into a middle school and in 2015 the school will apply to be a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB Primary Years Program)
