Career

Fitzpatrick began her career with O'Connor & Associates in 1992. During her tenure, she served as head of various teams and "specialized in investing in equities, equity options, index options, convertible arbitrage and merger arbitrage." In August 2013, when O'Connor became a standalone business area within UBS Global Asset Management, Fitzpatrick was appointed as global head and chief investment officer (CIO) of O'Connor. Prior to that role, she was global head and CIO of O'Connor within the alternative and quantitative investments area.

In January 2016, Fitzpatrick was named Global Head of Equities, Multi-Asset and O’Connor at UBS Asset Management, responsible for overseeing more than CHF 300 billion in assets. She is a member of the UBS Asset Management Executive Committee.

Fitzpatrick was featured in a UBS ad campaign, "Together We Can Find an Answer," in which she was photographed by renowned American photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Memberships

Fitzpatrick is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Hackley School, a prep school in Tarrytown, New York.

Fitzpatrick was named to Business Insider's most powerful women on Wall Street in 2013, American Banker's 25 most powerful women in finance in 2015, and The Hedge Fund Journal's 50 leading women in hedge funds in 2015.
Bio

Fitzpatrick is a native of New York. She "is a second-generation Irish American with ancestors hailing from Kilkenny and Cork on her father’s and mother’s side." Fitzpatrick holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. Fitzpatrick ran track at UPenn.
