David Gillard (born 23 June 1971), is a British rower who represented Cambridge in the 1991, 1992 and 1993 Boat Races. He rowed for Great Britain at the Szeged Reservoir, Hungary in 1989; Linz Ottenshelm, Austria (1990); Naro Lago, San Giovanni, Italy (1991); and the Nations Cup Glasgow (1992). In 1996 he rowed in the VIII that won the Grand Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta.

Life

Gillard was born 23 June 1971 and educated at Bedford Modern School and St Catharine's College, Cambridge.

Gillard represented Cambridge in the 1991, 1992 and 1993 Boat Races. He rowed for Great Britain at the Szeged Reservoir, Hungary in 1989; Linz Ottenshelm, Austria (1990); Naro Lago, San Giovanni, Italy (1991); and the Nations Cup Glasgow (1992). In 1996 he rowed in the VIII that won the Grand Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta.

Gillard chaired the Cambridge selection process for the 2005 Boat Race.
