David Graham Dawson (born 7 March 1982 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory) is an Australian cricket player, who played for the Tasmanian Tigers and New South Wales. He plays club cricket for Kingborough Cricket Club.

David Dawson broke into the Australian first class cricket scene in spectacular fashion, when on debut, he became the first batsman to ever score a century on debut, and carry the bat through the innings at the same time. Like the Tigers senior keeper, Sean Clingeleffer he has fallen victim to the Tigers' policy of not picking a specialist keeper for one day cricket, and also fails to get regular games in the Pura Cup team. However he has developed a reputation for eking out dogged innings when required, including a 144 not out to save a game against the Southern Redbacks.
