David Barford FRS is a British medical researcher, and Professor of Molecular Biology, at the Institute of Cancer Research.

Education

Barford studied Biochemistry at the University of Bristol then went on to earn a DPhil from University of Oxford, supervised by Louise Johnson.

Career

Barford worked at the University of Dundee Medical Research Council (MRC), with Philip Cohen and Tricia Cohen. He was a Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Fellow in 1991. In 1994, he was University Lecturer at the University of Oxford.

He was a member of the Faculty of 1000, from 24 January 2002 to 9 March 2004.
