Career
Dave was the second employee at book social network Shelfari, where he oversaw its marketing and sales functions. After growing Shelfari's user base from 5,000 to 2 million, Amazon acquired Shelfari in September 2009 for an undisclosed amount. Shortly following the acquisition, Dave left Amazon to found social media agency Banyan Branch, which he operated with co-founder Alex Garcia. Deloitte acquired Banyan Branch in October 2013, and integrated the company into Deloitte Digital.
