Daud Kamal (4 January 1935 - 5 December 1987) (Urdu: داؤد کمال)) was a Pakistani poet who wrote most of his work in the English language.

Contents

He received the Faiz award in 1987 and a posthumous Pride of Performance award in 1990. He published most of his translated work of other poets.

Early education

He received his early education from the Burn Hall Abbottabad and the Islamia College Peshawar. Then, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Peshawar and the Tripos from the University of Cambridge.
