November 3, 1987 – Incorporated as Interface Software Resources Private Ltd.

December 18, 1992 – Name changed to Datamatics Technologies Private Ltd.

January 13, 2000 – Got listed as a public company under the provisions of section 43A of the Companies Act and changed its name to Datamatics Technologies Ltd.

Acquisitions

In August 2011, Datamatics had acquired California based IT firm, CIGNEX, specializing in Open Source.

In July 2011, Datamatics had acquired a controlling stake in Bangalore based Vista Infosystems, an unlisted entity specializing in the Embedded Systems space.

In May 2015, Datamatics acquired 1KEY Suite of Offerings from MAIA Business Intelligence
