Personal life
Daria Ramirez is the mother of former matinee idol, singer, and actor Keempee de Leon and former teen actress Cheenee de Leon to TV host, singer, comedian, and actor Joey de Leon.
Career
She did movies in 1974 South Seas with Vic Vargas, in 1975 "An Affair in Tahiti" with Gloria Diaz and Rosanna Ortiz, in 1976 Stowaway with Rey Malonzo, Sgt. Dalagon (1977) with Tony Ferrer and in 1976 the critically acclaimed "Nunal sa Tubig" directed by National Artist Ishmael Bernal.
She appeared in films Hiram Na Mukha (1992) starring Nanette Medved and Abot Kamay Ang Pangarap (1996) starring Maricel Soriano and Dina Bonnevie, among others.
She earned the Gawad Urian Best Actress award for her role in "Sinong Kapiling? Sinong Kasiping?" in 1977 and received the Best Supporting Actress accolade for her performance in "Aguila" (1980), which starred Fernando Poe, Jr., Christopher de Leon, and Elizabeth Oropesa.
She performed more than 115 movies and television shows.
