Danielle Hazell is an English cricketer. Born in Durham in 1988 she plays for the Sapphires in the 'Super Fours' competition and was a late inclusion into England's successful World Twenty/20 squad in 2009, replacing the injured Anya Shrubsole, although she did not appear in the tournament. She is a right-handed batsman and off break bowler. Up to November 19, 2010 she had played 10 one day internationals and ten Twenty/20 games for her country. She made her test debut in the one off Ashes test at Bankstown Oval in January 2010.

She is the holder of one of the first tranche of 18 ECB central contracts for women players, which were announced in April 2014.She along with Holly Colvin holds the record for the highest 9th wicket partnership in WT20I history(33*)

On 15 November 2016, Hazell captained England for the first time in a Women's One Day International against India after Heather Knight was ruled out through injury.

Hazell was a member of the winning women's team at the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup held in England.
